  12. MagicKey is self explanatry. If you  don't know  much about appletalk networks then I sujest you read up on it first before useing MagicKey.

  14. Thing's you must do:
  15.  
  16. 1. Your word file MUST be called passfile and it MUST be located in the same folder as MagicKey.
  17. 2. The word file must have the word /END/ at the end of it (if you are confused then see the sample file)
  18. 3. You MUST becarful how you use this (See the Warning's).

  20. Note: once you have ented all the information in the user name, volume, zone and server fields press Command(apple) + H
  21.               this will pop up a dialog box asking where you would like to save passwd (this is where the password will be put once 
  22.               it has been cracked ). Once you have selected some where to save the password  the program will begin to crack the 
  23.              passwords, you will be able to see how  fast it goes through each password by keeping an eye on the Status bar at the 
  24.              top. if the passfile isn't in the same folder as magickey you will get an error when it trys to save the password.

  27. Warnings:

  29. 1. If MagicKey is running and the system admin  looks at the File Sharing Monitor control panel he/she 
  30.      will see the use name you are trying to log in as flashing on the screen. 
  31.  
  32. Tip: get a copy of the 'Clockshare' Extension. this will hide your use from the File shareing control panel but I can't promis it     
  33.             will keep you hidden from other programs.

  37. 2. Check to see what security is running, this thing tends to to show up in logs and it will be very hard to explain the 200 
  38.        login atempts to the cops.

  41. Tip: If you do manage to hack your way on to the computer you can, and should, remove the logs.

  44.  MagicKey WILL NOT slow  the network down at all, but if you run something like MacPing you will definatly notice it!
